QPPD DEVELOPS AND SUPPORTS A NETWORK OF PARENTS THROUGHOUT QUEENSLAND BY:

• providing and sharing information about advocacy,
   
• maintaining a statewide network of families and friends involved in advocacy,
   
• bringing parents and allies together to discuss advocacy issues and to share ideas and strategies,
   
• supporting the pursuit of better community based options and better lives for people with disabilities and their families,
   
• identifying and fostering parent leaders in advocacy.
