Each year QPPD sets priorities for our systems advocacy work. The current priorities are:

1. Politics, Partnerships and Personalised Reponses:
   Creating real life opportunities with adults with disabilities and their families.
   
2. Education Queensland's Placement Policy and Practice:
   A report by QPPD on the school placement of children with disabilities.
   
3. Disability Services Act Review
   A QPPD response to Disability Qld's rewiew of the State Disability Services Act 1992
   
4. Community Investigation
   An investigation into the abuse, assault and neglect of people with a disability receiving services provided or funded by Disability Services Queensland (DSQ).
   
5. Review of the Education Act 1989
   QPPD has written a guide to assist families in making an individual response, which is available here.

   QPPD has written a guide to responding to the "Have your say: on improving disability services in Queensland" consultation paper.
